About the Dish
Double ka meetha is a rich, traditional Hyderabadi bread pudding made from fried bread slices soaked in a sweet, thickened milk (rabri) flavored with saffron, cardamom, and rose water, then garnished with nuts and raisins.
Method
How It’s Made
- Golden bread, fried in desi ghee.
- Soaked in cardamom syrup and finished with silky rabri.
- A restrained garnish of saffron and nuts, rooted in Hyderabadi tradition.
